In this sculptural head, the moment of transformation is captured:

from human to eagle,

from earthly power to elevated force.

The layered glazing supports the tension between the human face and the emerging bird form.

Sometimes a sculpture needs to be born

to stop something that eats away at you from within.

I created Zeus

when I felt forces trying to bend me.

Not into openness, but downwards.

To make me smaller than I am.

So I chose.

Clarity. Strength. My own path.

This head — part human, part eagle —

captures the turning point.

From earthly weight to elevated force.

Not to rule,

but to truly see.

In mythology, Zeus was the god of lightning and thunder.

But to me, he became something else:

a force that cuts through darkness.

A reminder you don’t have to shrink

for those who can’t hold your light.

You don’t need to become someone else.

You only need to return

to who you already are.
