Helga Renders

'First date' is inspired by the painting 'Pretty in pink', which is also the title of the film. The sculpture is cast in a pigmented acrylic resin, then further finished with professional highly pigmented paint in shades such as pink, orange, yellow and brown. As a final coat she was given a layer of varnish. Helga uses the brush as she would paint it on canvas. She brings the image to life with precise, fine strokes.
