Caught in a moment of movement, the zebra seems almost to dissolve into its surroundings. Blue and orange collide gently with earthy browns and greens, creating a tension between presence and disappearance.

Her stripes remain unmistakable, yet they begin to lose their certainty. What was once familiar becomes elusive, as if the image itself is becoming a memory.

Once part of a Belgian zoo, this zebra now exists somewhere between recognition and imagination.

Disappearing Zebra is about the fleeting nature of what we think we know, and how even the most familiar presence can slowly become something remembered rather than seen.
