Blossoming Reverie
2024Blossoming Reverie unfolds like a quiet dream you don’t want to leave. Layers of colour drift into one another, where gentle tones and flowing forms create a sense of movement that feels both soft and alive. There is a subtle rhythm in the composition, as if everything is slowly opening, breathing, becoming. Floral hints emerge and dissolve again, never fully fixed, inviting you to look a little longer, to notice what reveals itself over time. The work holds that delicate space between presence and imagination, where what you see is guided as much by feeling as by form. If you are drawn to quiet, layered moments that reveal themselves slowly, then this is for you. If you find yourself lingering in soft details, in shifting colours and forms that never fully settle, this piece will meet you there. If you appreciate a sense of gentle unfolding, where nothing is forced and everything seems to find its place in its own time, then this work invites you to stay a little longer and see what begins to appear. Organic, intuitive, Floral abstract, mixed media, ink, metallic spray paint and acrylics.
Snowwhite
2026Snow White was never about innocence. It was about survival, silence, and being looked at. Snowwhite focuses on a moment of transition, where stillness shifts into breath. The image unfolds through layered structures that both reveal and obscure. Fragmentation and areas left unresolved allow multiple temporalities to exist simultaneously, creating a sense of tension between what is present and what is emerging. Colour and gesture move across the surface like currents, carrying a subtle dynamic between suspension and activation. The figure appears neither fully fixed nor fully released, but held within a fragile threshold. The work explores the space where change becomes perceptible, where an image is not yet complete, but already in motion. Snowwhite is a moment caught between release and return. The instant before breath fully reclaims the body, and the echo of stillness that still lingers. Time doesn’t move forward here, it layers. A fragile in between where transformation is already happening, but not yet complete. Everything hovers, shifts, and refuses to settle into one fixed meaning.
In the Garden of Daydreams She Grows
2024There are places that exist only in the imagination. Gardens where silence has a voice, colours breathe more softly, and dreams slowly take root. In the Garden of Daydreams, She Grows invites you to pause for a moment. Not only to look, but to truly feel. An emerald green glow embraces the portrait like a sheltered garden, while warm orange-red flowers and sparkling bursts of colour drift through the painting like small moments of wonder. Her gaze rests somewhere between memory and possibility. As if she knows that the most meaningful growth is often invisible, quietly unfolding within. This painting is a celebration of imagination and of the part of yourself that continues to dream, explore, and grow, no matter where life leads. Painted in acrylic on professional linen canvas, stretched over a wooden frame with an aluminium support frame.
She Rises Between Currents
2026A tribute to the quiet, unbreakable strength of women, rising through shifting tides with grace, depth and luminous power. She Who Rises Between Currents is born from the quiet strength beneath the surface, where light meets shadow, where intuition speaks louder than sound. She carries the fierce softness of the tides: the power to pull, to release, to reshape what seems unmovable. Her strength is not the strength of storms, but of the deep, steady, ancient, unmistakably her own. In her, the currents do not clash; they converge. She rises through them with a grace that is hard-won, a reminder that true power can be gentle, fluid, and still unstoppable. She is the force that lifts, the whisper that steadies, the pulse that keeps moving even when the world grows heavy. A woman shaped by both the hidden and the seen, by everything she has carried and everything she dares to become.
What Love Carries
2026She chooses silence. Not as absence, but as an act. With every movement she weaves hope, with every touch she carries what was once broken. Around her, bodies circle that have been changed, held by feathers, shaped by loss. Not everything is restored. One wing remains. A reminder that love does not promise perfection, but stays, until the very end. This work speaks of enduring without a voice, of care that leaves its trace, and of the beauty that emerges when something has been irrevocably altered and still remains.
Absolution.
2019Some worlds exist only within. He is not looking at you, but beyond what can be seen, as though his thoughts have already wandered elsewhere. His calm posture contrasts with the large shadow behind him, suggesting a second reality that quietly surrounds him. To me, this work is about everything that lives beneath the surface. About the imagination children carry so naturally. About feelings, dreams and questions that cannot always be explained, yet are instantly recognised. Absolution invites you to look beyond the portrait itself. Sometimes what remains unseen tells the deepest story.
Secrets
2019Some secrets are not meant to be uncovered all at once. They reveal themselves slowly. Bathed in soft light, she stands between an open door and a window. Her gaze drifts outward while the rooms behind her seem to hold whispers from another time. Secrets explores the quiet beauty of hidden stories, where imagination, memory and history gently intertwine. Not everything needs to be revealed. Sometimes mystery is the story itself. The painting is created on stretched linen with painted edges, mounted on a reinforced wooden and aluminium frame, and arrives ready to hang.
A Ray of Light
2012Sometimes everything changes without anything happening. A closed eye, a gentle smile, and light that seems to pause for a moment, as if the world is holding its breath. While painting this piece, I kept thinking of the song When I See You Smile by Bad English. The feeling that a smile can brighten even the darkest moments became the inspiration for this work. A Ray of Light is about those quiet moments that often go unnoticed, yet have the power to change everything. A gentle smile. A glimpse of hope. A ray of light arriving just when it is needed most.
