Sleeping man
2023Did you ever feel the exact moment just before you fell asleep? Even when you didn’t want to sleep at all, every time nodding your head back up? This young man tried very hard to stay awake but luckily for Helga he failed… This sculpture resembles a rough diamond that has not been fully cut and polished. The irregularities and texture on the surface give it a sense of authenticity and raw beauty. The subtle details, such as the sharp lines of the jaw and the soft curves of the lips, capture the essence of human expression in a moment of stillness. The yellow hue of the material exudes warmth, while the black pedestal provides a contrast that makes the head rise like a monument of subdued strength. This sculpture radiates a sense of timeless elegance and depth, inviting the viewer to explore the complexity and diversity of the human spirit. The head is made of orange pigmented plasticrete, a synthetic plaster. The bluestone base is connected to the head with an iron bar.
Opium
2022Helga came up with the title when her eldest daughter gave here a hug a while ago and said, you smell like mama... Some scents can bring back memories from your childhood. Nice moments to cherish. The image you see reflects the security, the feeling of home, safe under mother's wings. The vibrant colors utilized, including the deep purple, lively pink, and warm red, blend seamlessly to create a harmonious unity. Opium refers to the perfume, the longing for that cozy security. A permitted addiction.
I love you to the moon and back
2024In the stillness of the cosmos, the universe cradles this sleeping child as a precious gem, a pledge of a bright future. May his dreams be bathed in light and his awakening be filled with hope and love. I dedicate this work to all children of the world, and especially to the children of Palestine. The linen cloth is stretched on a wooden frame, reinforced with aluminium. The hanging system is easy to adjust in height. The sides (4.50 cm depth) are also painted.
Between two worlds
2025Between Two Worlds is inspired by the original tale of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. The work captures the moment she gives up her voice to become part of a world that does not belong to her. A choice born of longing and hope, yet one that severs her from who she once was. Voiceless and unanchored, she floats between two realms. Her body carries the silence of all she has surrendered — out of love, not weakness. She loses herself in a space where nothing is certain, except her devotion. And even as her dream fades, she chooses not vengeance or despair — but the life of the one she loves.
Artemis
2025It began with an unexpected encounter in the forest. A roe deer appeared on my path, paused, and looked back — as if sensing something approaching, invisible yet present. We stood still. Together. Connected. In that moment, the boundary between worlds seemed to part. Softness and instinct. Silence and strength. Later, I found Artemis in mythology: goddess of the moon, of nature and the hunt, protector of the feminine. According to an ancient tale, she transformed herself into a chestnut tree, to escape the desire of Zeus. Not out of fear, but from a deep connection to herself and the earth. An act of resistance and surrender, a merging of body, tree, and freedom. This sculpture was born from that — from the meeting of the animal that looked at me and the goddess who became root. A being that is neither solely human nor animal, but both. And more. The rough, earthy textures at the base anchor the work, while the upper part rises soft and transparent — an antler with two moons gently swaying between realms. Artemis embodies the moment when boundaries fade: between skin and bark, instinct and silence, strength and vulnerability. Not a portrait, but a remembrance of who we truly are — in transformation, in connection, part of something greater than ourselves. Monumental sculpture, suitable for outdoor use Materials: pigmented acrylic resin, epoxy clay, bronze and iron powders, acrylic paint, and seal coating Theme: transformation between human, animal, and nature

Stardust
2025She carries the light of far-off skies, and the quiet truth that happy thoughts can lift you higher than fear ever could. In her hands, stardust - a reminder that magic is not only found in stories, but in the moments we choose hope over doubt. Believe, and you will see: with a joyful heart, you can face anything.
In the Quiet, I Remember You
2025In a bowl where colors dream and bend, A goldfish floats where flowers blend. Through liquid light, he seeks with grace, The hidden lobster’s secret place. I painted this by feeling, letting colors and shapes appear without questioning them. When I stepped back, I suddenly saw a lobster tucked between the flowers. It surprised me — and then made perfect sense. I’m a Cancer. Somehow, without thinking, I had painted a part of myself. I added a little fish, almost instinctively. It felt like it was searching… for something. For someone. Maybe for me. Maybe for you. Sometimes, a painting knows more than we do. Acrylics, inks, oils
The Stillness That Saw Me
2025There are encounters you don’t seek - they find you. A sudden stillness. The sense of being watched. Not by a person, but by something older than language. Wilder. This antlered being appeared in my work the way it might appear in the forest - without sound, without warning, with a gaze that asks nothing, yet says everything. It stirred something quiet in me. Wonder, maybe. Or the feeling that a veil briefly lifted between worlds - and I was allowed to look through. I didn’t paint it as a symbol or a story. I painted it as an echo of that single moment: when time stands still, and something that has always been there looks back at you. My work is not a destination. It’s a doorway.
Pink Waterfall
2025In this work, memory and imagination drift together like mist. Swirling hues and translucent layers awaken a gentle longing — as if you’re being drawn back to a hidden place within, where wonder still breathes and quiet magic lingers. A hummingbird appears — delicate, otherworldly — a fleeting messenger between realms. This piece becomes a moment of stillness, an invitation to dream, to remember, to step through the gate of your own inner paradise. A whisper of the wondrous, waiting to be found again.
Absolution.
2019There was something in his gaze that touched me. So quietly present, so full of trust, asking for nothing. I painted him slowly, layer by layer, as if he could choose when he wanted to be seen. I folded his hands without reason - just because it felt right. As if he found rest, just sitting there. Maybe this isn’t protest. Maybe it’s simply a child being entirely himself. And that is already enough.
Secrets
2019A girl dressed in a blue gown with satin patterns, Gazes dreamily through the window, her eyes filled with enchantment. She wanders through the endless corridors of a majestic castle, Imbued with history and tales that leave one's curiosity dazzled. The chambers of the castle are adorned with exquisite decor, Furniture and embellishments that captivate and allure. A mysterious aura permeates the air, Nostalgia and secrets linger, evoking a sense of flair. The artwork evokes a feeling of mystery and longing, Inviting exploration of the castle's stories, ever so compelling. A journey through time, an invitation to partake, In the enchantment of the castle, for memories to awake. Painting is painted on all sides, stretched on wooden and aluminium frame.
A Ray of Light
2012There are moments that change everything - quietly. Eyes closed, not hiding, just at peace. And when she smiles, the light pauses, as if it’s been waiting for that glow all along. Not loud. But radiant.
